Addictions are illnesses. We provide help for addicts, co-dependents, and their families who are suffering and come to us in their pain and confusion. We believe the client should be treated, whenever possible, within the least restrict environment. We know recovery is a life-long, day-to-day process. This process requires hard work, commitment, self-awareness and honesty.
Many people can achieve this on an outpatient basis through a comprehensive quality program such as ours. If inpatient care is appropriate and medically needed, a professional and responsible referral will be made.
Our primary goals are to have each client understand and accept the disease of addiction, his or her powerlessness over it, and that recovery is possible through abstinence and knowledge. Each client is supported in developing his or her own personal wellness plan based on the Medicine Wheel Concept. This allows the client to integrate and apply their own recovery journey to their lives; therefore making the process more meaningful to the client.
In accurately and comprehensively assessing the client’s current situation, a thorough matching of the individual to the most appropriate treatment is achieved. This program is an intensive, outpatient, alcohol, drug and co-dependency treatment program.
Our finding is based on the belief that addiction is a disease, it can be treated. We do not view addiction as a mental disorder, nor do we see it as a matter of lack of morals, intellect or willpower.
We believe it is a disease that affects people in all areas of their lives-physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and spiritually. The Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous is one of the foundations of our program. With these twelve suggested steps as a guide and a client’s own willingness and honesty as their strength; one can recover from the disease of addiction and return to a life that is content, happy and free.
The measure of success for the program is long-term abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Outpatient treatment clients are educated and treated so that they may re-enter society and lead responsible, successful drug and alcohol free lives by using the tools of recovery.
We recognize and fulfill each client’s needs by helping them attain a thorough understanding of themselves and the recovery process while providing a safe, supportive environment.
